There are over 30 accommodation providers located across the Falklands, ranging from self-catering cottages, guest houses and B&B's, to full-board lodges and hotels. The Falkland Islands Tourist Board is currently developing a comprehensive online accommodation guide, due for launch in early 2009. Please note! Visitors planning a trip to the Falklands should be aware that Customs and Immigration require accommodation to be booked prior to arrival in the Falklands.  Proof of the booking may be requested during the Customs clearance process at Mount Pleasant Airport, therefore it is advisable that visitors carry a hard-copy version of the booking where applicable.
