Visit the FITB at Birdfair
Once again the Falkland Islands Tourist Board will be exhibiting at Birdfair, Egleton Nature Reserve, Rutland, UK from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd August. “Birdfair” describes itself as “the birdwatcher’s Glastonbury” and is the World’s largest international birdwatching event.
Come and chat with us in Marquee 4 at stand 59 to find out more about getting to the Falkland Islands and the wide range of birding locations to visit. Staff will answer any questions you have and provide free brochures, guides and factsheets, including birding checklists.
Enjoy a real taste of the Falklands with our on-stand “smoko” at 11 am each day with tasty treats including fudge and home-made jams, chutneys & biscuits. Our easy-to-enter competition forms are available throughout the day with a chance to win a Falklands birding pack containing books, DVDs, a fleece and FITB re-useable shopping bag.
